To the Rescue Of a Nostalgia

To the rescue of a nostalgia is the first poem in my book Pure stories, love songs. It corresponds, of course, to an eminently romantic stage and philosophical searches, to a journey in search of meaning for life.

1

The pride of the gods

Mark the consummation of the holocaust.

Something…, something was missing: us?

2

Yes… those meager stories garnish

From the harsh winter less and less;

We have to fable and proceed to reconstruct them,

In clay tablets and multimedia.

Each of us on our old horse,

Each one in his sanctuary.

Still doesn’t explain your journey with the air,

Long trail of sighs and carnations,

Transcendent pores and billets

In the letters.

3

Before you, a simple sunset.

Love of waves on rock,

Dialect of skin on trees;

A desperate dive into the chasms of desire,

A continuous unknown until your face.

After you, the deluge.
